Scenic western Maine college town invites OB/GYN to join superb group practice! Student loan aid offered!
Farmington: We have an excellent new opportunity for a talented OB/GYN to practice in a popular, growing college town in scenic, recreation-rich western Maine. This progressive, award-winning 65-bed acute care community hospital has a medical staff of 50 handling a broad range of medical, surgical, pediatric, women's care, mental health, and diagnostic services for more than 40,000 area residents. You will be proud to work for this patient-centered organization, and you can look forward to excellent colleague interaction and referral relationships amongst area physicians. Join three experienced OB/GYNs and a superb, skilled clinical staff in this collaborative, hospital-owned practice managing about 320 deliveries annually. This is a full-service practice offering normal and high-risk obstetrics, preventive care, contraceptive counseling and family planning, menopause and hormone management, infertility evaluation, and gynecologic surgery. You will enjoy practicing in a new, state-of-the-art medical services building adjacent to the hospital, which is fully equipped with the latest ultrasound and spiral CT Scanners, and new laparoscopy equipment. Deliveries are performed in modern hospital birthing suites, while many procedures are done in the office, including vaginal ultrasound, video colposcopy, LEEP, NSTs, and urodynamics. Call is shared on a comfortable 1:4 basis. You will also have an opportunity to precept medical students and residents, if desired.
